BIG retaliate against OG, set up grand final rematch with Vitality

BIG will face off against Vitality in the cs_summit 6 grand final after eliminating OG in third place of the tournament.
The German squad around Johannes "tabseN" Wodarz pulled off two massive runs over the course of their rematch from the group stage against the European side, with 15-0 and 16-1 streaks on Dust2 and Mirage, respectively, putting them through to the grand final after a three-map series.
Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen's men leave the tournament in third place, earning 1,750 points in their first entry towards the special ESL One Rio ranking, in which they are currently sitting in 11th place — a spot they will wish to at least maintain in the autumn RMR event.

With Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt picking up three huge multikills, OG were on a hot streak at the beginning of Dust2, as two quad-kills in the pistol round and first gunround as well as an antieco ace from the Frenchman ensured a flawless start for the European side. However, once NBK- cooled off and no one else stepped up in the same way, OG's trouble began.
BIG kept finding picks and making all the right calls, grouping up from there to attack bombsites from a single angle and playing the trade game. That worked wonders for them for the rest of the first half as they responded with a seven-round streak, and things soon turned from bad to worse for OG. Nothing worked for the Aleksib-led side in the second half, where the only close round ended with Nils "k1to" Gruhne defusing the bomb in a 1v1 situation in the nick of time, and BIG went on to claim the first map off a 15-round run at 16-7.
OG bounced back on Inferno, where they got off to a good start again and this time managed to keep themselves in control thanks to some clutch play from Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså and Aleksib, preventing BIG from stringing rounds together and securing an 11-4 offensive half. For a moment it seemed as if the Germans would mount another comeback off Tizian "tiziaN" Feldbusch's 1v3 and 1v2 clutches, but the European side caught on at 11-9 and rallied to a swift victory.
Mirage very much resembled Dust2. A clean pistol win gave way to a 4-0 lead in favor of OG, but it did them little good as the rest of the half was firmly in the hands of BIG, who won the fifth round on the back of a quad-kill from tabseN and never let off. Only the second pistol went the other way, as the Germans went on to win the following forcebuy and quickly closed the map 16-5.
