Cph Games female reaches playoffs

It is not only the male CS:GO tournament that is reaching its latter stages: the female competition has also entered the playoffs as eight teams remain in contention.
The biggest surprise of the first day came in the form of ALTERNATE finishing fourth in their group, leaving the ESWC runners-up up against n!faculty, who came out on top of Group A level on points with Epsilon.
The new Millenium team, who boast three players of the BTB side who won the ESWC title in 2006, took Copenhagen Games by storm during the first day as they topped Group B with an impressive 5-1-0 record.
ALTERNATE will have to pick up the pace to win the event
Unlike the male tournament, the female competition will use a single-elimination format, with every match being played in a best-of-three mode.
